European Party

Herceg Novi is the most amazing place I’ve seen yet.  Have you read The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas?  If not I highly recommend it.  It won’t take you that long - it’s only a couple pages.  It’s a short story by Ursula K. LeGuin.  Anyway, Herceg Novi reminds me of Omelas, but without the miserable secret.

Have you ever visited a period of your past that you haven’t seen in a long time, and that evoked dream-like emotions?  I haven’t been to Herceg Novi before, but those kinds of emotions were definitely what I was experiencing.
